ASC Service To Civilian Program
With a focus of providing whatever practical support is necessary to help US Military veterans make a successful transition to civilian life, volunteers from Service to Civilian come to Austin Street Center each week to help with resume writing, job hunting and interview coaching.
The group also provides cell phones, computers, interview attire, social outings and rental assistance for our homeless military veterans. Members of the group also mentor our clients, coaching them on real life experiences.
Service To Civilian works in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and has long term plans for expanding throughout the state of Texas.
