Serving as Austin Street Center’s Chief Advancement Officer, Myrshem George leads all fund development activities including major gifts, annual giving, corporate and foundation relations, government grants and contracts, marketing and communications, community engagement and volunteerism. Myrshem has more than 21 years of professional fund development and strategic leadership experience, and has spent his career prior to Austin Street working in both community-based and higher education organizations including University of North Texas, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and Boys and Girls Clubs. He holds both a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing, as well as a Master of Business Administration in human resource management.
