Austin Street Center works with a coalition of partners to open and manage the City of Dallas inclement weather shelters during a weather event. We provide safe shelter for our neighbors with nowhere else to go during subfreezing and extreme heat weather events. As we work to provide critical care for unsheltered neighbors, we also operate a shuttle network to help transport individuals. In addition to safe shelter, our guests are provided access to showers, medical care, and three nutritious meals a day. Austin Street Center continues to answer the call and serve the city’s most vulnerable homeless. Please consider joining us to support this lifesaving effort.
