Mission of Austin Street Center: Founded in 1983, Austin Street Center provides emergency shelter and meets the basic needs of the most vulnerable people experiencing homelessness in Dallas.

The Shelter Services Coordinator serves as the central point of contact for phone calls, client inquiries, and the overall operations at Sisterhood and the Main Shelter. This position provides essential services, support, and guidance to clients, ensuring a safe and organized environment. The coordinator will manage daily operations, oversee cleanliness, and ensure that shelter services are provided efficiently and with a positive approach. Additionally, the role includes maintaining inventory, managing client sign-up lists, and supporting both staff and clients to promote a healing and respectful environment.
