We are thrilled to reveal our brand new website along with a freshly designed logo.
Our new website:
Our website has been updated to improve functionality, ease navigation, and look good on mobile devices. We hope you enjoy new features like this blog, easier online giving options, fillable forms, and more! We’re so excited to use this new tool to communicate more effectively.
Our new logo:
There is nothing inviting about being homeless. Nothing comfortable. Being homeless means concrete streets, constant work and little in the way of shelter. This logo is meant to convey a different way of life. By using the combination of a Austin Street’s familiar color scheme, single edifice (one based on Austin Street’s own building), open door and closely overarching tree, this logo reflects the ideas of shelter, unguarded time and a hint that the world doesn’t always have to be a place of discomfort and danger.
The building represents our core belief of providing safe shelter to Dallas most vulnerable homeless members, while the tree symbolizes our commitment to provide the type of environment that allows those experiencing homelessness to reach their full potential physically, mentally, and spiritually. The open door is a reminder of our welcoming nature with a hint of future hope and opportunity found through our programs and services.
We are so grateful to the team at Speck Communications for their expertise and belief in our mission while guiding us through this redesign.
