Our 2024 Humble Beginnings car raffle has concluded and congratulations to winner Barry C. Thank you to all those who participated in the raffle, we hope you will join us for our annual Normathon car raffle, coming this December.

Austin Street Center will hold our annual Humble Beginnings Luncheon on Friday, October 11 and feature co-host of NBC’s TODAY with Hoda & Jenna, Jenna Bush Hager, as keynote speaker. This luncheon kicks off our 24th annual celebration themed, What Does Hope Look Like? and will raise funds and awareness around the issues of homelessness in the city of Dallas. 

This year’s luncheon, co-chaired by Michelle Thomas and T. Dupree Scovell, with Elaine Agather serving as honorary chair, will honor The Addy Foundation with the Norm Hitzges Distinguished Service Award for their long-standing dedication to Austin Street Center and ongoing leadership in the Dallas community.

Additionally, Texas Health Resources will be presented the Community Leadership Award for their commitment to supporting the most vulnerable homeless in our community through its medical respite program partnership with Austin Street and other hospital partners in Dallas County.
